Grade Foundation presents a new and original project. Thanks to the cooperation with Serena Ballerini, a make-up artist, it offers the opportunity to make-up or to teach the Hematology Ward patients make-up. Serena Ballerini is graduating in make-up from Bologna Film National Academy. She is at the disposal for all the women on Saturday, in the morning, from 9 am to 12 am, at the Hematology Ward. The service is completely free and devoted to all the women patients at the Hematology Ward.
Who is Serena Ballerini?
She turned a passion in her business, devoted herself, body and soul, at colors, make-ups and brushes. She works in the brides sector, cooperates with some fashion photographers, and carries out film make-ups and special effects. Since forever, she’s in love with the endless creative opportunities given by the make-up artist profession, she tries to improve it and to apply it at more fields as possible. From here, the idea of this project together with Grade Foundation.
“Even when the body changes, though with great difficulties, you can adapt yourself to the new condition watching you pleasant anyway. Even if the make-up can’t work miracles, it can help to give a positive message of ourselves outward and unto ourselves. It’s a way to encourage ourselves and to be convinced that only if we support ourselves we can do progress and that it’s necessary to react”.
